JJJJound has launched its Made in Germany adidas Superstar collaboration. After the success of the Samba project, the duo is now focusing on the iconic Superstar model. The collection includes two colorways: “Off White” and “Core Black.”

Premium Design and Quality Construction

Both colorways feature a Made in Germany construction. This is a change from the initial Made in Japan version of the “Core Black” colorway. The “Off White” sneaker has a neutral beige tone with black accents on the Three Stripes and heel tab. The gold “JJJJound” branding on the lateral side and tan lining complete the design. This combination creates a sophisticated, minimalist look.

Meanwhile, the “Core Black” colorway offers a bold, darker aesthetic. It uses black and tan color blocks for a rugged, stylish feel. The Made in Germany build ensures high-quality materials, offering durability and sophistication.

Release and Availability

The JJJJound x adidas Superstar Made in Germany collection will release on February 1, 2025. The “Off White” pair will retail for $250 USD, with the “Core Black” colorway expected soon after. Some retailers, such as BSTN, have already prepared for the launch.

Where to Buy

The sneakers will be available for purchase online through adidas, JJJJound, and select retailers. Combining high-end construction and minimalist design, this collaboration promises to be one of the most anticipated releases of 2025. Stay tuned for further details on where to buy.

Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team and Adidas have officially launched their first collaborative collection, designed for both fans and athletes. This collection provides performance wear for drivers, engineers, mechanics, and supporting team members, ensuring functionality across all aspects of motorsport.

Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1: A Fusion of Performance and Lifestyle

The Adidas and Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team collection offers a diverse range of apparel, footwear, and accessories inspired by motorsport culture. Designed to blend functionality with style, the collection reflects the high-performance nature of Formula 1 while incorporating Adidas’ rich 75-year heritage. Fanwear pieces feature the team’s signature teal color, alongside classic black and white shades. These elements create a balance between sports innovation and everyday fashion, making the collection suitable for both race day and casual wear.

Custom Performance Wear for the Team

This collection includes specialized performance gear designed for key team members. The driver wear, created for George Russell and Kimi Antonelli, features lightweight fabric with AEROREADY technology. This material helps regulate body temperature, ensuring that drivers remain cool and focused under high-pressure conditions.

Mechanics’ gear is tailored for mobility, using lightweight materials that allow ease of movement. Reflective details on the front and back enhance visibility, making it practical for working in fast-paced environments. Engineers have a specially designed technical polo, crafted from breathable fabric. This modern take on the traditional white shirt offers increased comfort and flexibility, essential for long hours at the track.

Options for Fans

Beyond performance wear, the collection caters to fans with a variety of loungewear, hoodies, tops, and t-shirts. These items offer a stylish way to show support for the team. Footwear options include high-performance trainers like the Ultraboost 5 and Supernova, designed for both paddock use and everyday wear.

Availability

The fanwear collection is now available for purchase online through Adidas and Mercedes-AMG F1. This collaboration brings motorsport-inspired style to a global audience, merging high-performance innovation with everyday fashion.

Both iterations embrace a bold, modern aesthetic, combining eye-catching colors with sleek design elements.

Although it is a popular urban myth that the sports apparel company Adidas got its name from the acronyms “All Day I Dream About Sports”, it is not correct. In fact, the company is named after its founder, Adolf “Adi” Dassler, who died in 1978. He was a German cobbler and the younger brother of Rudolf Dassler, who founded Puma. The Adidas name is formed from “Adi” (a nickname for Adolf) and “Das” (from “Dassler”). The new logo features the iconic three stripes that form the triangular shape of a mountain. This mountain symbolizes overcoming challenges – a popular theme for the athletes that Adidas sells their apparel.
