The 2025 GRAMMY Awards took center stage at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, with Trevor Noah returning as host. This year’s ceremony honored the best in music, songwriting, and production, recognizing some of the industry’s most celebrated artists.

For the first time in four years, no new categories were introduced, though some renaming updates were made—Best Pop Dance Recording replaced Best Dance Pop Recording, while Best Dance/Electronic Music Album was rebranded as Best Dance/Electronic Album.

Major contenders included Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Charli XCX, and Chappell Roan, with Best New Artist featuring rising stars like Sabrina Carpenter, Doechii, Shaboozey, and Chappell Roan.

The highly coveted awards saw major wins across categories:

  • Record of the Year: Not Like Us – Kendrick Lamar
  • Album of the Year: COWBOY CARTER – Beyoncé
  • Song of the Year: Not Like Us – Kendrick Lamar
  • Best New Artist: Chappell Roan

  • Taylor Swift’s highly anticipated album, The Tortured Poets Department, lost to Beyoncé’s COWBOY CARTER, making Beyoncé the most-awarded female artist in GRAMMY history.
  • Kendrick Lamar dominated in multiple categories, including Record of the Year and Best Rap Song, with his powerful track Not Like Us.
  • Sabrina Carpenter secured her first GRAMMY win, taking home Best Pop Solo Performance for Espresso and Best Pop Vocal Album for Short n’ Sweet.
  • Charli XCX’s BRAT won Best Dance/Electronic Album, reinforcing her status as an experimental pop visionary.
