Nitish C Kumar, a Fine Artist, had a life-changing experience at the prestigious World Art Dubai 2023 exhibition. He realized that success is not about a single decision or big leap, but rather the result of consistent small efforts and wise choices made at opportune moments. For Nitish, it was his discerning choices that led him to the pinnacle of his existence.

In his two decades as an artist, Nitish never imagined that his painting would be showcased, scrutinized, appraised, and adored by artists from around the world. But at the four-day art exhibition, he saw his life’s work come to fruition, and it was a watershed moment for him. The experience was profound, and Nitish credits his success to the culmination of all his efforts and wise choices.

Nitish is not just a Fine Artist, but also a philosopher at heart and an artist of the soul. His stunning creations are a testament to his profound insights into the human experience. They possess the power to awaken the soul and ignite the imagination of all who lay eyes on them.

Nitish’s deep respect for the mysteries of existence imbues his paintings with multiple layers and elements, each revealing something new to those who gaze upon them. With his sketch pens, brushes, palette, and canvas, he channels his energy into creating works that will transcend time itself.

With a natural inclination towards spiritual symbolism, Nitish’s interest in philosophy and spirituality is the driving force behind his artistry. His mind is a constant whirlwind of thoughts, inspired by conversations with others and the pages of great books. Despite his demanding role as a branding professional, he always makes time for his passion – creating meaningful art that reflects his innermost sensibilities through the stroke of his fine-liner pens.

Nitish’s art is not just about aesthetics. It’s about a journey of self-discovery that he shares with his audience. His works evoke a sense of transcendence, allowing viewers to enter a world of beauty and contemplation. Nitish believes that art has the power to connect people, heal wounds, and transform lives.

For Nitish C Kumar, the great Gibran and Rumi are his biggest inspirations. They have instilled in him an unquenchable curiosity to seek and explore the depths of artistic expression. Nitish’s paintings are an homage to these great thinkers, a reflection of their wisdom and insights into the human condition.

Samar Kamel, a Dubai-based artist, uses a variety of mediums to communicate with the public, including tissue papers, nail polish, and tea bags. The Egyptian artist, who came to Dubai with her husband 30 years ago, is a published author and the curator of World Art Dubai (WAD). She explained that she was sipping tea in her studio when the idea of putting tea bags in her paintings came to her.

She feels that all artists like her incorporate whatever they can into their work in order to express themselves or send a message to the public.

She used her talent to bring attention to societal concerns that needed to be addressed. She received an Emirates Women for Arts and Culture Award nomination. She believes she was nominated for the award because she organized charity auctions to collect funds for marginalized segments of society and women imprisoned in Cairo owing to outstanding debts. “I feel that art is a message in and of itself,” she remarked.

She went on to say that the UAE has emerged as the Gulf’s ‘Art Hub’ during the last 15 years and that this is a great example of the country’s support for artists and art. It’s no surprise that numerous UAE musicians have been granted Golden Visas. “As more artists chose to make the UAE their home, the UAE began to shine as a beacon of art. “Art in the emirates has evolved from a regional to a global phenomenon,” she noted.

The annual art fair, which runs till Saturday and follows Art Dubai, has returned to the Dubai World Trade Centre for the eighth time. This year, more than 300 artists from 50 nations are presenting their work, making it the largest edition of the festival yet.

It’s also the most varied. While there are many paintings and sculptures on display, the fair has a special emphasis on urban fashion, design, and art, as well as a section dedicated to NFTs. The works on display are all for sale, with prices ranging from a few hundred dirhams to five figures.

This year, the NFTs make their World Art Dubai premiere, with a segment dedicated to digital art. The WAD Next zone features NFT artworks by artists and galleries from the UAE, the United States, Lebanon, and Iran. Each piece of art is accompanied by a QR code that leads to an online marketplace.

The creators of the Arabic technology website MenaTech, as well as The Crypto Sheikhs Podcast, dedicated to blockchain education, will speak at WAD Next. Both novices and experts will be able to brush up on their knowledge and make their first NFT purchase in the zone.
