The next sites for Louis Vuitton, MaxMara, and Moschino’s next shows, which will all be in-person events on location, have been confirmed. This is likely the strongest expression of hope the fashion industry can offer, marking a turnaround from the caution of the previous two years, which saw many design houses hunker down and deliver digital-only presentations as a result of the pandemic. The determination to return to the road demonstrates renewed vigor and a desire to interact directly with new audiences.

MaxMara has announced that its resort 2023 collection will be showcased at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon, Portugal. The Gulbenkian, as it is more commonly known, is a venue dedicated to the promotion of the arts, philanthropy, science, and education.

On June 28, the show will take place. Meanwhile, on June 19, Italian fashion label Moschino will present its spring/summer 2023 male collection in Milan, in what will be both a new venue and a homecoming.

Jeremy Scott, the creative director, recently showed collections in New York. Moschino hasn’t shown in Italy since January 2018, signaling a major shift in the brand’s approach to its Italian clientele. As more designers feel free to go beyond border boundaries, these announcements are expected to be the first in a wave.

This follows Chanel and Giorgio Armani’s recent appearances in the UAE, when they presented their cruise 2021 and spring/summer 2021 collections, respectively, in late 2021. Prada utilized the same strategy of exhibiting twice, repeating their spring/summer 2022 women’s show in both Milan and Shanghai.

On February 16, the Saudi Arabian pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai will host a fashion show to honor the Kingdom’s designers.

Homegrown labels Arwa Al-Banawi, Tima Abid, and Abadia will be featured during the event, which is organized in partnership with the Saudi Fashion Commission.Ten pieces from each brand’s most recent collections will be on display.

Al-Banawi has established herself as one of her generation’s most innovative designers in recent years. She works out of her design studios in Jeddah and Dubai to bring together eastern and western ideas, blending traditional tailoring with current perspectives.

Abid established her own womenswear label 18 years ago. During Paris Haute Couture Week in 2020, the Jeddah-born couturiere debuted her first collection. She’s dressed some of the region’s biggest names since then, including Assala Nasri and Balqees Fathi.

Meanwhile, the Saudi label Abadia, based in Dubai, bills itself as “ethical luxury.” Shahd Al-Shehail and her aunt, Naeema Al-Shehail, co-founded the family-owned brand with the goal of empowering and supporting Saudi women craftsmen by incorporating traditional crafts like sadu (weaving) and naqda (drawing thin metallic threads through cloth) into their creations.

It’s not every day that you board a jet almost fully staffed by models, make-up artists, and hair stylists, but that appears to be the case when Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana bring their opulent Alta Moda and Alta Sartoria presentations to AlUla in Saudi Arabia.

Alta Moda (for women) and Alta Sartorial (for men), the Italian design duo’s answer to haute couture, is the ultimate outpouring of their artistry, skill, and emotion into handmade, one-of-a-kind outfits. The couture show, titled the Ikmah Fashion Fashion Show, was invited by the Royal Commission for AlUla to participate in the Tantora Festival and featured 58 looks from the Dolce & Gabbana archives, which were brought to the kingdom from Italy, as well as a full atelier of tailors and seamstresses to attend to private fittings for clients in the following days.

The presentation began with a white gown of diaphanous silk, hand painted with golden rococo swirls over a big, swishing tulle skirt, as the sunset cast an orange glow over the surrounding sandstone cliffs of Jabil Ikmah, a Unesco World Heritage site noted for its ancient carvings. It set the tone for a celebration of an extraordinary world, where a single look takes months to create and price tags are rumored to run into the six figures. Light as air, but with a train trailing three meters behind, it set the tone for a celebration of an extraordinary world, where a single look takes months to create and price tags are rumored to run into the six figures.

A large gown with voluminous skirts, hand painted with violet blossoms, was also seen on the runway, followed by a fringed cape in dense blood red sequins, sprinkled with pink flowers. In the spotlights, an ethereal column dress floats in the spotlights, its bodice adorned in delicate feathers fully hand painted in gold. A lattice of beadwork fashioned into a face veil, a square necked full-skirted garment of beaded silver, and a thick cape, created to cocoon the body and combined with an ornate gold headdress were among the Renaissance-inspired outfits for ladies. The whole effect was enchanting, despite the cold of the AlUla winter, with the delicate hand work of the looks and headpieces glinting in the lights.

Pitti Uomo, one of the most prominent men’s fashion events in the world, has reopened in Florence, Italy, for the first time since the epidemic. Pitti Uomo is a biennial fashion fair that began in 1972 and is now in its 101st edition.

Some of the world’s most stylish guys converge on the seasonal men’s fashion fair to view the latest trends in the business. It is, however, basically a trade show where various designer labels, both new and established, gather to show off their current collections to buyers, visitors, and the press.

The latest Fall-Winter styles were unveiled on the first day. Ecoalf, Paul and Shark, Ten C, Filson, Connolly, Marc O’Polo, Christopher Raeburn, Camper, Premiata, Holden, Aldo Maria Camillo, and Save The Duck were among the labels and guests who attended this edition. During the show, which ran until January 13, more than 600 new Fall-Winter collections were on display.

According to an Instagram post on Pitti Uomo’s account, this year’s event will “be placing you on the latest labels to watch, highlighting the greatest street style, and giving you an inside look at crucial pieces that will be driving next fall.”

The first day of the event was devoted to color, and the season’s color was Mandarin Orange, which was extensively visible on the streets. In fact, it was highlighted as a key color in Ten c’s Fall/Winter 2022 collection.

Overall, it appeared that comfortable apparel was the trend, which evolved as a result of the pandemic’s lifestyle modifications, and its effect shows no signs of lessening. Camper, a Spanish footwear manufacturer, was also present at the event, presenting its mules on the opening day of the fair.
